PAPUA - Behind the towering mountains and dense jungle, Julukoma Village holds a story of resilience and hope. In this remote area with minimal access to healthcare, the Yonif 323/Raider Koops Habema Task Force is bringing a glimmer of light to Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Friday (7/3/2025).
Under the leadership of Lieutenant Inf Ari Surahman, the dedicated soldiers provide free medical services to the people of Julukoma Village. More than just treating physical ailments, they offer a much-needed sense of care, love, and attention that has been long awaited by the local community.
"We are here not only as soldiers but also as brothers, " said Lieutenant Inf Ari Surahman gently. "We want to share, ease the burden, and bring hope to the people here."
Inside a modest village hall, the soldiers worked tirelessly to serve the residents. From children to the elderly, everyone received medical check-ups, treatments, and counseling on the importance of maintaining good health.
A deep sense of gratitude radiated from the villagers. Mama Maria, a local resident, expressed her heartfelt appreciation with teary eyes.
"We are truly grateful for the help of these soldiers, " she said. "We feel seen, cared for, and loved."
For the Yonif 323/Raider Koops Habema Task Force, this mission was more than just an assignment—it was a calling of the heart. They proved that the presence of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) in Papua is not only about defending the nation’s sovereignty but also about humanity and compassion.
Meanwhile, Pangkoops Habema Major General TNI Lucky Avianto emphasized that despite the challenges and limitations, the TNI remains a beacon of hope, bringing smiles and support to the people of Papua’s remote regions.
"May the efforts of Yonif 323 inspire us all to continue sharing and giving our best to those in need, " he concluded.
